Introduction

This table lists all the dashboards for all the users in your account, including published dashboards.

Fields

In addition to the common fields, the Dashboard Table includes the following fields

Auth Data Source

If specified, and the user accessing the dashboard is not logged in, a single sign-on process is performed against this data source.

Content Block Options

This field saves content block publishing preferences for publishing a dashboard to ServiceNow. When publishing is done automatically, these preferences apply.

Import Source Id

If this dashboard was imported from XML, this field has the universally unique id of the dashboard that was exported to XML.

Label

The dashboard title.

Name

The dashboard name. Typically, it’s the same as the label (title).

Published

This field is “true” of the dashboard is a published dashboard, “false” otherwise.

Published Frozen

This field is “true” if the dashboard was published from a scheduled dashboard task with the “frozen” option. When published in this manner, all the views in the dashboard are published “frozen” as well.

Published Requires Login

This field is “true” if the dashboard is published and the user is required to login to see the dashboard. The default is “true”. If the value is “false”, it means that the user can view the dashboard even if they are not logged into Explore Analytics.

Publishing Options

This field saves publishing preferences for publishing a dashboard. When publishing is done automatically, these preferences apply.

Read Roles

For shared dashboards, read roles can restrict access to users with one of the specified roles.

Refresh

A non-zero value specified the number of seconds for automatic refresh of the published dashboard.

Rotate Tabs

A non-zero value specified the number of seconds for automatically rotating between tabs in the published dashboard.

Source Id

The id of the dashboard from which this dashboard was copied. A copy is made when the user selects “Make a copy” from the “File” menu, or when a dashboard is published.

Tags

This field has tags associated with this dashboard. For example, if the dashboard is part of an app, it is tagged accordingly with the name of the app.

User

The user who own this dashboard or empty if it’s a shared dashboard. The user field is a reference to the user in the user table. You can access fields from that table directly, for example to see dashboard that belong to inactive users, for example.

Write Roles

For a shared dashboard, write roles can restrict editing of the dashboard to users with one of the specified roles.
