System Tables: Preference

Introduction

This table lists system and user preferences for your account.

Fields

In addition to the common fields, the Preference Table includes the following fields

Name

The preference name.

Object Id

If the preference applies to a specific object such as a view, the Object Id is the id of the view.

Object Table

If the preference applies to a specific object such as view, the Object Table will be the name of the table, e.g., View.

User

If specified, the preference is a user’s preference. If empty, it’s a system preference that apply to all users. A user preference overrides a system preference. The user field is a reference to the user in the user table.

Value

The preference value.
